At Sydney Criminal Lawyers, we believe that clients should know how much their case will cost from the very start.

That's why we offer Fixed Fees for a range of criminal and traffic law services.

We are the original firm to offer 'Fixed Fees for Guilty Pleas' in less-serious Local Court cases and are the only Law Society Accredited Criminal & Traffic Law firm to offer Fixed Fees for a range of our services.

1. 'Fixed Fees for Guilty Pleas' - When you Plead 'Guilty' in the Local Court

All work up to and including a full day in court by an Accredited Specialist*:

Courts in Sydney City and Metropolitan Area: $1200 + GST ($1320)
Courts in Other NSW Cities (Gosford, Newcastle, Wollongong etc): $1400 + GST ($1540)
Courts in NSW Country Areas: $1500 + GST ($1650)

2. Attending Police Station for Arrest/Charge/Interview Procedure - 24x7

Sydney City and Metropolitan Area: $600 + GST ($660)
Outside Sydney Metropolitan Area: $800 + GST ($880)

3. Prison Conference (at Gaol or in Police Cells)

Sydney Metropolitan Area (eg Silverwater MRRC, Parklea, Long Bay, Surry Hills Cells): $600 + GST ($660)
Outside Sydney Metropolitan Area: $800 + GST ($880)

4. Bail Application in the Local Court

All work up to and including a full day in court by an Accredited Criminal Law Specialist*:

Courts in Sydney City and Metropolitan Area: $800 + GST ($880).
Courts in Other NSW Cities (Gosford, Newcastle, Wollongong etc): $1000 + GST ($1100)
Courts in NSW Country Areas: $1200 + GST ($1320)

5. Bail Application in the Supreme Court

All work up to and including a full day in court by an Accredited Criminal Law Specialist*:

$1500.00 + GST ($1650.00)

6. Appeal to District Court because Local Court penalty is too severe

All work up to and including a full day in court by an Accredited Criminal Law Specialist*:

Courts in Sydney City and Metropolitan Area: $1200 + GST ($1320)
Courts in Other NSW Cities (Gosford, Newcastle, Wollongong etc): $1400 + GST ($1540)
Courts in NSW Country Areas: $1800 + GST ($1760)

7. Conducting AVO Hearing

All work up to and including one day defended hearing by an Accredited Criminal Law Specialist*:

Sydney City and Metropolitan Area: $2500 + GST ($2750)
Outside Sydney Metropolitan Area: $2800 + GST ($2980)

8. Driver Licence Appeals (against Infringement Notice or Suspension Notice)

All work up to and including a full day in court by an Accredited Specialist*:

Sydney City and Metropolitan Area: $1200 + GST ($1320) + Local Court Filing Fee (currently $81)

9. Applications to Quash Habitual Offender Declaration

All work up to and including a full day in court by an Accredited Specialist*:

Sydney City and Metropolitan Area: $1200 + GST ($1320) + Local Court Filing Fee (currently $81)

10. Applications under s32 Mental Health (Forensic Provisions) Act 1990

These are applications for proceedings to be dismissed because the defendant was suffering from a 'mental condition'.

All work including briefing psychiatrist/psychologist, initial court date and subsequent hearing date by an Accredited Criminal Law Specialist:

Sydney City and Metropolitan Area: $1800 + GST ($1980)
Outside Sydney Metropolitan Area: $2000 + GST ($2200)

11. Dangerous Dog Cases

1. Conference to Advise

    - Providing expert legal advice at offices or by telephone: $220 (inc GST)

2. Letter of Introduction to Council

    - Drafting / sending letter of introduction to Council and follow-up: $220.00 (inc GST)

3. Written Objection to Proposed Dangerous Dog Declaration

    - Drafting / submitting formal 'letter of objection' to Council: $550 (inc GST)
     - Above plus proposed 'Undertakings to Council': $770 (inc GST)

4. Appeal Against Dangerous Dog Declaration

    - Drafting / filing appeal; drafting 'Control Orders'; negotiating those Orders and
     all other work up to and including full day in Court: $1320 (inc GST) + $81 filing fee

5. 'Guilty Plea' for Dog Attack Prosecution (eg s16 Companion Animals Act)*

    - All work up to and including one day in Court: $1320 inc GST (Sydney Courts)
                                                                              $1540 inc GST (Regional Cities)
                                                                               $1760 inc GST (Country Courts)

* Most cases can be completed on the first court date. However, if an additional court date is required the further fee is an all inclusive lump sum of $600 + GST ($660) up to and including that date.
